Although there is still a long things and minds to change, today we can find strong and empowered women, able to speak out and achieve their desired goals. But was this possible in ancient times? A lot of years ago they were nothing in the society, without the opportunity to study, they were only raised to be a wife and to procreate, giving all their lives to the house’s activities and their children without the possibility to have dreams or aspirations. Due to misogyny in the Peruvian society, women have suffered not only the bad luck to born as a woman in a time when being it was a nightmare, they also have been affected by poverty, wars, diseases, etc. And without the possibility of women to do something, without a voice they only can wait to the death to come to take them. But over the years and throughout history, society has changed, thanks to the constant fight of all the women through ages and circumstances different roles have been assigned to women in all areas that before were only for men, like for example the chance to study careers like engineer and architecture that in their time they were supposed to be just for men, and the opportunity to lead big companies and have better jobs positions. But all this started with simple decisions that came to actions, all begin with those girls who used to write books and published with an anonymous name, who didn’t want to marry a man and live through them, they started a revolution without notice it, it’s the nature of humans want to overcome themselves. Like the story of Agnodice, a woman who lived in Greece 400 BC., she was recognized as one of the first female gynecologists, is said to have courageously practiced medicine in Greece when women faced the death penalty for doing so. Eventually caught, she was vindicated and allowed to continue when patients came to her defense. With this decisions and time more women have been dedicated to promoting a better life for women, like the ‘feminism’, a movement that wants a world where the opportunities from everybody are the same and were people are judge but they skills and knowledge without matter the gender. It is not uncommon to say that marches are held in favor of these organizations throughout the country year after year and that each time the support given to them in different aspects is noted. And this support is essential not only to inspire more woman, but they also help to make a change in various aspects of women's daily lives.
